High-Ticket Sales
High Ticket Kajabi: How to Sell Your Course at a Higher Price
Two Kajabi course creators. Same niche, same platform, same audience size. One launches a $497 course and nets $9K. The other sells a $7,500 enrollment to 4 people in a single DM conversation and walks away with $30K. The gap isn’t Kajabi features — it’s the conversation.
Two Kajabi course creators. Same niche, same platform, same audience size. One launches a $497 course to a list of 3,000 and nets $9K. The other sells a $7,500 enrollment to 4 people in a single DM conversation and walks away with $30K.
The gap isn’t Kajabi features, email sequences, or how polished the sales page is. It’s whether they’re having a real sales conversation — or hoping a landing page does it for them.
If you’re a Kajabi creator who’s been stuck at the same launch numbers for the last 6–12 months, this post is for you. Not because you need a new funnel or a new platform. Because you need a different conversation — and a framework for closing it with confidence. Everything covered here maps directly to high ticket sales for course creators at the level Kajabi was always built to support.
Why Kajabi Creators Are Already Positioned for High-Ticket
Kajabi is not a low-price platform. It’s built for premium delivery — pipelines, communities, coaching programs, memberships, live cohorts. The infrastructure is there. The problem is that most creators price their offers like they’re on a marketplace competing on $97 impulse buys, when they’re actually sitting on transformation-level expertise that commands multiples of that.
Here’s what high-ticket actually looks like on Kajabi:
- Group programs: $3,000–$8,000
- Coaching memberships: $500–$1,500/month (with a 6-month minimum = $3K–$9K total commitment)
- Live workshops and cohorts: $1,500–$5,000
- Masterclasses with VIP add-ons: $997–$3,000
- 1:1 coaching embedded in a program: $5,000–$25,000
The platform is not the problem. The conversation is. Most Kajabi creators have already done the hardest part — they’ve built the curriculum, proven the transformation, and grown an audience that trusts them. The only missing piece is learning how to price high ticket offers at the level their delivery actually warrants — and then closing the enrollment conversation with confidence.
The shift is this: stop selling a course, start selling a transformation. And do it through a direct enrollment conversation, not a checkout page.
The 4-Question Kajabi Creator Discovery Framework
Before anyone sees an investment number, you need to understand what they’re actually buying. This is the framework that turns a Kajabi DM or discovery call into a $3K–$8K enrollment. For the full call structure, see high ticket discovery call.
1. “What’s the one result you haven’t been able to create on your own — and how long have you been stuck there?”
Listen for the specific gap and the time they’ve been sitting in it. “I’ve been trying to hit consistent $10K months for two years” lands differently than “I just started.” The longer the gap, the stronger the urgency. Don’t rush past this answer — it becomes the anchor for everything that follows.
2. “Have you invested in courses or programs before? What got in the way of the result?”
This question is doing two things at once. It reveals their real buying objection before price ever comes up, and it gives you the information you need to differentiate your offer from what didn’t work. If they say “I bought a $2K course and couldn’t get through the content,” you know accountability is their gap — not information. Handle it now or handle it as an objection later.
3. “If you had that result in 90 days — what changes in your business or life?”
This is the emotional case for the investment. Let them paint the picture. “I’d finally feel like my business is working.” “I’d be able to leave my 9-to-5.” “My husband would stop stressing about my revenue.” When they say it out loud, they’re building the internal case. Your job is to listen — not to sell yet.
4. “Is this a decision you make on your own, or do you need to loop in a partner?”
Surface the decision-maker before you present the investment. This is the #1 stall killer. If there’s a partner involved, invite them to the next conversation. Don’t present a $5K offer to someone who then has to go home and “run it by my husband” with no context, no momentum, and no you in the room.
Bridge close: “Based on everything you’ve shared, I think you’d be a strong fit for [program]. Can I walk you through how it works?”
How to Present the Investment Without Apology
This is where most Kajabi creators lose the sale — not because of price, but because of how price gets delivered. Wavering here signals doubt in your own offer, and buyers feel it immediately. The high ticket sales mindset work starts before the call, but it shows up most clearly in this moment.
Lead with the transformation arc. Before you say a number, recap their exact words from the discovery conversation. “You told me you’ve been trying to hit $10K months for two years. You said that if you had that result, you’d finally feel like your business was real. That’s what this program is built to do.”
Then say the number. “The investment for [program] is $X.” Full stop. Then silence. Do not explain it, apologize for it, or immediately offer a payment plan before they’ve reacted. Let the number land.
Never say “does that fit your budget?” That question hands the decision to a ceiling they’ve already set in their head. Swap it for: “How does that feel given what you described wanting to create?” That question connects price to outcome — which is the only math that matters.
Use an outcome anchor. “Most clients in this program see [specific result] within [timeframe] — and the total investment is $X, which is less than one month of staying stuck.” Reframe the cost as the cheaper option.
Frame around leverage. “You’ve already spent money on Kajabi, ads, email tools, and other courses. This is the conversation that makes all of that compound instead of staying separate.” They’ve already invested in the infrastructure. You’re selling the missing piece.

The 4 Objections Kajabi Creators Face (and How to Handle Them)
Every Kajabi creator running high ticket sales scripts will encounter the same four objections. Here’s how to move through each one. For a deeper dive, see how to handle sales objections.
1. “I need to think about it.”
“Of course. What part feels unclear — the content, the results, or the investment?” Then listen. Most “need to think about it” answers are a hidden objection wearing a polite mask. Surface the real one here or lose the sale entirely. The pause you create with that question is the most productive silence in the conversation.
2. “I’ve already bought programs and they didn’t work.”
“I hear that — and it makes sense to be careful. Can I ask what broke down? Was it the content, the implementation, or the accountability?” Then differentiate clearly: “The reason my clients get different results is [specific mechanism — live coaching calls, direct feedback, weekly accountability check-ins, Voxer access, etc.].” Don’t get defensive. Get specific. Past failure isn’t a no — it’s an open door if you have a real answer to what went wrong.
3. “Your price is higher than I expected.”
“I get it. Can I ask — how much have you spent on Kajabi, ads, email tools, and other courses in the last 12 months? For most creators I work with, it’s $3K–$8K and counting. This is the conversation that makes that investment compound instead of staying separate.” They’ve been investing in the parts without the connective tissue. You’re offering the framework that ties it together. The high ticket closing techniques guide has more on anchoring the value conversation before price hits.
4. “Can I just do the $497 course?”
“I offer that too — but based on what you described, the gap isn’t information. It’s implementation and accountability. That’s what [program] is designed for. If you’d prefer self-paced, the lower-tier option is there — but I want to make sure you have the right fit, not just the lower price.” Protect your model. Offer the step-down genuinely, but make the distinction clear: they told you what they need. Honor that.
The Assumptive Close + Follow-Up Sequence
After the investment presentation and objection handling, don’t ask if they want to think about it. Go assumptive. High ticket closing techniques all point to the same principle: assume the sale before you ask for it.
“I have [X] spots open in [month/cohort]. Based on everything you’ve shared, I’m confident this is the right fit. Do you want to go ahead?”
If yes: Send the payment link immediately. Not in 20 minutes. Not after you “get it set up.” Right now, while they’re in decision mode. Every minute of delay gives doubt a seat at the table.
If not yet, use a 3-touch follow-up sequence:
Day 2: “I was thinking about what you said — [specific detail from their call]. I mapped out what the first 3 weeks of [program] would look like for you based on your goal of [result]. Want me to send it over?” Personalized. Specific. Makes them feel seen, not chased.
Day 5: Send an anonymous case study. “[Client] came in with the same hesitation. She’d already invested in two programs that didn’t move the needle. Six weeks later, she had [specific result]. Here’s what shifted.” Match the case study to their specific objection whenever possible.
Day 10: Soft close. “I have [X] spots left for [cohort/month]. Still thinking it over, or ready to move forward?” Two options. No pressure. Clean.
This sequence is covered in detail in how to sell high ticket programs and works as well via DM as it does via email. For DM-specific language, high ticket DM scripts has the word-for-word templates.
Building a Kajabi-to-Enrollment Pipeline
Most Kajabi pipelines are built to push people toward a checkout page. Flip that. Use your pipeline to deliver a high-value free piece — a training, a guide, a quick-win PDF — that ends with a discovery call application, not a buy button. The pipeline qualifies them. You close them.
Your positioning inside that pipeline should be laser-specific: “I help [specific Kajabi creator type] get [specific result] in [timeframe] — without [frustration they already have].” Not “I help online course creators scale.” Something like: “I help health coaches on Kajabi go from $997 launches to $5K group programs without overhauling their content.” The more specific, the more your ideal client self-selects. The more they self-select, the warmer they are when they apply.
Your highest-ticket buyers are already in your Kajabi ecosystem. They’re reading every email. They’re commenting in your community. They’re DMing you questions that go beyond what your free content covers. You don’t need a bigger list — you need to surface the buyers already on it. Use Kajabi’s segmentation and community tools to identify the most engaged 5–10% of your audience, and start having high ticket sales for coaches-level conversations with them directly.
The Only Thing Between You and $30K Enrollment Cycles
Kajabi is a premium platform. It’s built for premium delivery. The only thing standing between your current launch revenue and $30K–$100K enrollment cycles is the conversation you’re willing to have. You don’t need a new funnel, a bigger list, or a higher-production video. You need the closing framework. Start there.
